Our President, Al Garlick, was born in Rockland County, when there were more orchards and farms than office parks and multi-million dollar homes. But his career leveled up in the heart of NYC, where the energy hits you like a tsunami the moment you step onto the pavement. He called on global firms in penthouse suites and worked on international advertising programs with clients within the towers – memories made sharper by the tragedy of 9/11.

Not all clients wore cufflinks. Al also cut deals in South Bronx industrial zones, where facilities were wrapped in razor wire and innovation had to hustle to survive. It was gritty, real, and it shaped a marketer who knows how to win in any terrain.  You either delivered the goods and increased sales, or heard the proverbial “Hey, kid… go play in traffic,” or “I’ve got two orders for you… Get out and stay out!”

Still, Al’s sharpest thinking always came with fresh air and open space. That’s why he built Accelerated in the Hudson Valley—close enough to Manhattan or Upstate for face-to-face meetings but far enough to skip the overhead. From Oregon Roots to Global Reach: The Story of Steven McIntosh

Steven McIntosh is a marketing strategist and execution expert with a track record of helping technology companies sharpen their message, connect with the right audiences, and scale their impact across global markets. Steven brings skills that bridge the gaps between technical complexities, c-execs and marketing executions.   

Through his company, McIntosh Consulting, Steven has led high-impact campaigns for clients in the U.S., and Europe —working across sectors like AI infrastructure, biotech, and SaaS. His work spans everything from refining complex value propositions to launching communities and go-to-market strategies that move the needle. 

Steven’s international portfolio includes leading strategy for a global contact center platform with operations in the Philippines, Vietnam, Switzerland, and the U.S., and helping a Czech-based biotech group develop both a secure software platform for 3D printing in hospitals and a data aggregation strategy for clinical research. 

His work also caught the attention of MDCS.ai, an elite NVIDIA distributor in the Netherlands, where he served as AI Community Director and helped shape engagement strategy for one of Europe’s most advanced tech ecosystems. 

Known on both sides of the Atlantic for his ability to translate complex technology into clear, compelling narratives, Steven helps tech companies build content strategies that don’t just explain what they do—but drive growth. 

Accelerated Technical Marketing Is Born

Accelerated Technical Marketing was born from a successful collaboration between Steven McIntosh and Al Garlick. Steven, the independent AI Nvidia Community Director for MDCS.ai, an Elite Nvidia Partner in the EU, hired Al, President of Accelerated Advertising, to help MDCS clarify their vision, purpose, and messaging. Their work emphasized giving clients ownership and control over their AI solutions, which resonated with MDCS’s leadership. Pleased with the results, Steven and Al began exploring how their complementary skills could drive more success together.

Steven’s deep tech expertise and content marketing savvy fit perfectly with Accelerated’s proven marketing strategies. After partnering on another successful EU tech project, Al was impressed by Steven’s rare ability to bridge conversations between C-suite leaders, sales teams, and technical experts. Al invited Steven to collaborate more closely, recognizing their synergy, especially in the tech sector. By December 2024, they agreed to form Accelerated Technical Marketing, a new division laser-focused on helping tech companies “out-think, out-market, and out-sell” their larger, well-funded competitors.
